This is the music video i liked the most from last year because it looks genuine this is beacause:

• there are many shots of them doing different things and its not one or two shots so the video is more interesting to watch
• the lip sync and the cast match the song very well
• the camera is used in many ways 
• lighting is considered and natural light is used in smart way
• many backgrounds are used  

This is the second video which I like a lot and also looks genuine the reasons to this are:

• it also has many shots in different places
•  the start of the video has multi screens which i quite like specially how they go on top of each other as well as the clock and his face faded during some parts of the video behind another scene
• at 0:26 they use a slow motion effect which i quite like too
• they also use many effects to match the time so many colour effects are used
• camera movements are quite used and there's a variety of them
• the rewind effect in the end ia great effect and is also unique
• you can tell there's a story within the music video

Maybe - Preliminary Task

Our preliminary task was a song by Jay Sean called maybe , we decided to do this song because we wanted to experience different things and we found it an easier song to practice it on, we shot the first part outside and we did close ups of his face whilst the camera spun round him as he sung. The second part was done using the green screen and we thought carefully about the background and decided on a studio because we wanted to show that hes singing for someone , and to them hence he was looking straight in the camera. we thought our video was quite good because our cast cast was quite good and our singer , Harris' lip sync was very good and looked genuine, as did our green screen because the shadows in the back made it look more realistic. For our actual project we would like to consider a dance, green screen and an outdoor environment
as well as the genre of romance as this genre worked out well for us and so produced quite a few ideas. wed improve our video by having more cuts in the video and maybe using more effects such as multi-screens and color effects.
